More Than Books. A Place to Belong.

It’s a space created because Black children deserve to see themselves fully and beautifully reflected.

What started as a search for stories for our two boys became a globally recognized children’s bookstore where every book is intentionally chosen — read and approved by our family, through multiple lenses of the Black experience. Since 2019, we’ve gone beyond the page, creating spaces for literacy, creativity, nourishment, and community through events, open mics, libraries, and care-centered programming.

This isn’t just where books are sold.
It’s where community gathers, stories are affirmed, and Black joy is nurtured.
